You may find additional ideas or insights in Karen’s interpretation:
~Be powerful, gentle and affectionate
Are you trying to prove something to someone? The only person that we need to prove ourselves to is to US, our self, no one else really matters. So then, are your actions aligned with how you want to be treated? Can you be compassionate and loving with yourself? While also being true to your needs with others – staying in your power means you stand for you and your needs without excuse, anything less means we are seeking some kind of approval from someone else.
~This is your one life – speak for what you want or need
Only you know your needs, only you know what will serve your deepest desires, so only you can advocate for them. Our journey here on earth is for our own soul’s evolution, so while be gentle and affectionate, take care of your needs.
~Take care of your family
We are in family for a reason, because it’s nearly impossible to survive on our own. We need to look out for each other and help each other. Whether it’s your biological or adoptive family – we go further together. Chances are that what your soul needs can only be achieved through other people so we must remember balance in our life and with serving others.
`Patience is your guide
If you’ve seen a pack of lionesses setting up for a kill, you know it’s not quick. They are slow and methodical in placing themselves in a circle around the intended. There is no rush, even when the antelope or zebra make a run for it and the lions must start over they know that rushing will fail more times than not. Same. There is no need to rush.
~Remember to play
Truly a lesson from those that sleep, eat and play all day long. Each activity helps us take care of essential needs. We do NEED play – its nature is different for everyone, and it’s oft forgotten. Prioritizing what makes the body and soul feel good leads us in a happier, more meaningful life.
