~Don’t underestimate the importance of each phase and transition; transition is normal and important – embrace it
The frog goes through several significant physical transitions in its life cycle, and never fights it. The frog knows this is normal and necessary. This is the Truth of every life, even if it’s not as outwardly obvious as with the frog. We go through emotional cycles, physical cycles, spiritual cycles – all which have their own endearing aspects. The next time you are experiencing change in your life, step back and see what you can love about what was and what will be, and step into the natural flow of life. If you can’t find something to love in what will be, then ask yourself, ‘How I can have a positive effect on it? What action can I take to make my life or someone else’s life better through this change?’
~Be loud and clear; speak your word
Frog doesn’t care what time of day or night it is when he lets out that big croak! And sometimes it’s the tiniest of frogs making those large noises. He croaks when he needs to and shuts up when mission is accomplished. Speaking our truth should be the same: if we allow fear to stifle our voice, we will end up not getting what we need from life. In frog’s case, he’s looking for a mate and not afraid to advertise. What are you looking for that someone might be able to help you with if they only knew?
~Your cycle/routine is your cycle; own it, don’t try to adhere to anyone else’s sense of time but yours
You are ready when you are ready, not when someone says you are. Trust your own intuition to know when it’s time to move on or take the next step. Being pushed before you’re ready can lead to lack of confidence and not feeling victorious; waiting too long because of someone else’s fear can lead to resentment or personal resignation. It’s your life and your timing – do as you need.
~Be yourself no matter what others make of you
A frog is still a frog even if we dress him up in a crown and prince cloak. Be yourself even when others try to make you fit into their mold of what they want. If they aren’t ready to accept the true you, then they aren’t ready for you. Move on. Life is too short to try to conform to others’ ideas of us.
